# Jestr x Tapestry: Launching Tokens With Context

We’re excited to announce our integration between [Jestr](https://www.jestr.fun/) and [Tapestry](/content/site-root.html)! This partnership brings social context and visibility to token launches on Solana, powered by Tapestry’s protocol and Jestr’s simple onchain creation flow.

## Meet Jestr

Jestr is making token launches social, seamless, and fun! With one post on X, anyone can create a Solana token directly from their feed.

Jestr’s minting process is simply:

1. **Post**: Tag [@jestrbot](https://x.com/jestrbot) with your token's name, ticker, and an optional image or description.

2. **Create**: Jestr instantly replies with your newly created token, live and ready to go.

3. **Trade**: Start trading your newly minted token!

4. **Earn**: Token creators earn 80% of trading fees, roughly 4% of total volume.

## Why Tapestry?

Tapestry’s social protocol weaves together identity and reputation across apps onchain. By integrating Tapestry’s tooling, Jestr can enhance how users understand and interact with tokens: who launched them, who’s behind them, and what else they’ve done onchain and off. This means more trust, transparency, and a richer social layer on top of Jestr's token playground.

## Integration Unlock

We’re starting with two core features:

### 1. Profiles on Jestr 🎭

Users launching tokens with Jestr will now get a Tapestry-powered profile—linking all of their connected identities (Twitter, Farcaster, wallets, and more). This gives traders a sense of who they’re trading with, not just the tokens they’re trading.

### 2. Token Visibility on Solana Social Explorer (SSE) 🔍

Tokens created via Jestr will also be surfaced in Tapestry’s Solana Social Explorer, making them discoverable across the broader ecosystem. It’s a signal boost and a way to contextualize every launch.

## What’s Next?

This integration with Tapestry opens the door to a much bigger vision: unified social identities and smarter, reputation-aware token ecosystems. Soon, Jestr creators and collectors will be able to move seamlessly across platforms with a single wallet-based identity, while surfacing their onchain actions and affiliations.

By tapping into Tapestry’s cross-platform social graph, Jestr can bring context to every token launch, curating what’s trending based on meaningful relationships, creator history, and ecosystem activity!
